The story revolves around two friends Sofia and Maddi who attend the same school. One day, while looking for a snack in Maddi’s fridge, Sofia discovers how Maddi spends most of her days hungry.

The book can also teach kids the importance of using resources (including food) wisely and develop the spirit of helping those around them who may be less fortunate.
