I don’t know what it is about this year – but I’ve started off with a yearning to create a lot more.
On second thoughts, I do know what it is about this year that is creating this yearning in me to write more and create more products! đ Yes, this year, my Word of The Year is ‘Heal’ and expressing my creativity through my writing and other ways is my way of healing too.
Yearning To Create
âThe desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.â ~ Dieter F. Uchtdorf
The last few years have been quite painful for me and the last months of 2022 especially so. In 2022, despite my best resolve, I couldn’t create as much as I wanted to. I allowed myself to be overcome by other things and wrapped myself up in guilt.
But in this year of healing I want to creative a lot more on my blogs, podcast and courses and even on Instagram. I’m going to take up some of my unfinished projects and see them through.
On this blog you can expect a post every Wednesday. I’ll update you about the podcast once that resumes.
Also, have you signed up for my newsletters on Substack? Please do that here.
Are you too yearning to create? What’s motivating you? What’s stopping you from creating? I’d love to hear from you and help in any way I can.

In case you are looking for a boost to your blogging
You can find some great prompts by Julie JordanScott on Instagram . Here are a couple she shared.
- What is your heart calling you to write?
- What is ready to flow freely in your life? As 2023 begins, pause to breathe and invite flow into your life again.
You might also consider blogging every day in January using the Bloganuary prompts.
Just so happy for you. <3

Thank you, Natasha. Your support means a lot to me. â„
I create to connect. I feel like you do as well.
Weâre all on this planet for a purpose, and as corny as this might sound, everything in me says that purpose is love. Nothing less.
Weâre here to heal ourselves and each other, to be wildly open and true, and to create, in whatever ways our individual hearts and gifts lead us, a world of love. Of joy and hope and promise. To be willing to be vulnerable and to be worthy keepers of otherâs vulnerability.
It sounds like a tall order, but deep within me I belive it is actually the simplest of things. So Iâm glad youâre yearning to create. You are a beautiful human and have so much to give. â€
Thank you, Beth. You read me right. I love your words here – they ring so true.
I’ve always loved your writing. Are you planning to get back to blogging? You’d be doing us all a big service if you do. The world needs more authentic and beautiful voices like yours. â„
